has worked with the Delaware Valley Job Corps Center team for over 20 years. He brings over 12 years of customer service experience to his role as Hotel and Lodging instructor. Shawn enjoys using a student-focused approach in his classroom and teaching students how to best provide a quality guest experience.

is a Security instructor at Delaware Valley Job Corps Center. He brings over 20 years of volunteer firefighter experience and 18 years of experience in the health care field serving people with developmental disabilities. He is certified by the state of New York to teach eight- and 16-hour courses for students to receive their unarmed security guard certification, as well as by the American Heart Association to teach basic life support and CPR. Dan also holds an associate degree from SUNY Sullivan.

brings 24 years of experience as a high school teacher to her role as a High School Diploma instructor at Delaware Valley Job Corps Center. She holds a bachelor’s degree in history and medieval studies from Binghamton University, has a master’s in education from Sacred Heart University, and is continuing her education in professional development courses. 

recently joined the education department at Delaware Valley Jobs Corps Center as a full-time Math instructor. She brings experience in special education and loves using her knowledge to guide students.

is an Academic instructor at Delaware Valley Job Corps Center. She recently retired from the Binghamton City School District after 30 years of teaching English and reading. Colleen loves to read and wants to instill this love of reading in her students. She holds a permanent certification for teaching English grades 7 through 12 and is an Olweus Bullying Prevention Program trainer.

is the Welding instructor at Mississippi Job Corps Center. As a Job Corps graduate, Javeus saw the value of the program and decided to return as an instructor, using his skills from the program and the college he attended after completion to guide students. “In my 17 years as a Career Technical instructor at the Mississippi Job Corps Center, the most rewarding part of my career has been assisting students with completing the program and finding employment that allows them to be self-sufficient.”

is a maintenance technician at Mississippi Job Corps Center. After graduating from the center in 1990, he returned in 1992 to use his skills to give back. “Job Corps gave me the foundation and technical expertise to build a career. I take pride in fostering positivity and using my experience as a former Mississippi Job Corps graduate to encourage students to work hard and succeed.”

is the High School Diploma instructor at Mississippi Job Corps Center. Angela joined the team in 1996 after 14 years in the United States Air Force and nearly 15 years in education. She enjoys having the opportunity to inspire students to obtain an education and to nurture their desire to be successful.

joined the Mississippi Job Corps Center team in 2004 and serves as the Security and Protective Services instructor. Prior to joining the Job Corps team, William served 20 years in the United States Army and 10 years as a police officer. His expertise helps him to mentor and encourage students, which is his favorite part of the job.

is an Office Administration instructor at Phoenix Job Corps Center, with an extensive professional background as a business consultant and financial counselor. In the classroom, Crystal uses her skills to guide students toward success in their careers.
